What is TikTok and why is it so popular? TikTok is a social media platform that is targeted towards the younger generation (Generation Z). This platform presents short-form (15 seconds) video streaming content. The app allowed users to use a plethora of music and dialogue options, which creators and users can use to make funny and entertaining videos. TikTok originated from China and has over 800 million active monthly users.
